Before the Europeans came to the Americas there was already people. They Built advanced societies. The Mayas flourished from 250 to 900. Mayan ruins remain even today in Central America. The Incas, Mayas, and the Aztecs flourished from 250-900. The Mayans were a very advanced society. They built a pyramid that was the tallest structure in the Americas until the late 20th century.
The advancements are shown in document 1. Document 1 states, “This Mayan pyramid temple in tikal was the tallest structure in the Americas until the 20th century.” This evidence proves that they were advanced because there had to be architectural advancements in order for you to build something that big.
