Both of the stories have their differences. The differences in the murder crime and how the brick wall was different in the stories. In the story “The Black Cat” the character killed his cat and wife. The character didn't plan to killed his cat, but hang the cat on a tree and he killed his wife by stuffing an axe in her head. He killed his wife and cat with his own two hands. In the other hand, “The Cask of Amontillado” Montresor plan for weeks to kill Fortunato, but he didn't kill him with blood in his hand. Montresor had brick him up and left him to die as he suffocated to death.
