We all like music and we have all looked at the album art on all of our favorite albums by our favorite bands. But I bet none of you have taken the time to look at the differences over the course of the decades. It is pretty interesting I encourage you to do it if you have not already done it. In fact after you have read this paper you will have done just that by looking at the different album covers that I have looked at over the last three weeks trying to make connections on why the album covers of every decade is similar but different from other decades.
Over the course of time album cover designs have changed drastically. If you compare them year to year they do not look all that different but if you compare them decade to decade you can visible see all the differences. These differences are all because of the change in social events in every decade. In some album covers of the 1950’s we see that they depicte police in uniform which would have towards the middle and end of the 1950’s every citizen would have seen trying to force the laws of separate but equal upon them.
