Bottled Water vs Tap Water Water is an essential component to our lives; without it, we would die. The planet only has a limited amount of this resource that is available to drink and use. Even though the Earth is roughly 75% water, it is salt water that is unusable to a household in modern society. To convert it takes time, resources, and a lot of money, therefore we have to make sure we use the less than 5% of total freshwater in the world effectively.
