Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia. The island was formed from a volcano and is highly elevated. Tahiti’s beaches are beautiful and surrounded by coral reef. The island is 29 miles across and covers an area of 400 square miles. The average temperature ranges between 70 and 88 degrees Fahrenheit.
