Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is both a play and a movie. The story that this has is perfect for those who loves plays and for those who rather watch movies. The two share the same story but have some major difference in them. Some differences are that they sing in different volume and that in the play you cannot focus exactly on one character.
The movie and play both have the same story. They also have the same songs that each character sings. All the major parts of the play are also included in the movie, for example, when Sweeny kills Adolfo Pirelli and hides him in the box. Both the movie and the play would explain the message of the story so it wouldn’t really matter if you would choose to watch
