Compare And Contrast Sun Energy And Solar Energy

Improved Essays
As the world population increases day by day, so energy consumption rises also due to the industrial development there are more and more power needs to run these industries and factories. Conventional resources for energy are coal, natural gas, etc. they are form in millions of year so they take long time for their generation so there is need of energy resource that can balance the energy needs and there time of generation. If we take into account the world energy resources then sun would be the most readily available source of energy on earth also it give energy every day from day to night so there is need to use sun energy to fulfill our needs to overcome the energy crisis. From the recent data natural energy usage is 20% hydraulic power usage is 25% petroleum and other hydrocarbons are 35% and only 8% sun energy use to full fill the energy requirements, so as this resource like natural gas, Coal are not readily available also long process for their generation so it’s more reliable and preferable to use sun energy because this energy is readily available. …show more content…
Also solar energy is one of natural resources of energy so it is environmental friendly and do not produced any pollution. As solar panels are used to convert sun energy to electrical efficiency 99% of the panel material is recycle able that after recycling it can be used repeatedly by passing them from certain process. In addition, solar panels are design now day that has long lifetime and different lyres are there to protect them from environmental effects. Life times of solar panels are also made longer so mostly wander gives warranty of panel for 10 to 15 years. So it’s very long period after the investment. Therefore, researcher gives more preference to use solar energy than other source of

Ever since the industrial revolution, humanity has continued to increase energy consumption. Coal and oil are, of course, the most commonly used to meet the high demand followed by natural gas. Solar energy has the more potential than any other source, yet it is the source of so little of total energy produced. Fossil fuels will be exhausted first in less than 300 years (4), then natural gas. Solar power could provide unlimited pollution free energy.…

Professor of Economics, Paul Krugman speaks of solar power in the United States and it’s rise above fossil power in his New York Times op-ed, “Here Comes the Sun.” Is solar power really better than fossil power? Even though solar energy has a variety of benefits such as being abundant, environmentally friendly and also is declining in cost, it still has a few issues. One case of these issues is implementing that solar energy into the US electrical grid. According to the article “Green energy and Green power”, solar energy requires a great amount of space and consequently is frequently found in remote areas; transporting this energy to highly populated areas, such as cities, would be “inefficient and in some cases impossible”.…

"During the past years, numerous technological innovations have been made; however, the initiation of solar energy usage is perhaps the most promising. For instance, as a direct result of the rapid depletion of nonrenewable resources, human populations will eventually have to turn to the one inexhaustible resource that can help preserve the human living style; that is, the sun. To demonstrate, a German architect named Andre Broessel, recently created a solar power generator in the shape of a spherical lens that is not only convenient, but that is also highly efficient when compared to other traditional solar panels. Capable of powering homes, serving as a substitute for resources such as natural gas, and even capable of being utilized as a…

Fossil fuels (oil, gas, and coal) have been the pillar of our modern society since the Industrial Revolution. There is no further doubt that fossil fuels have a high density of energy and they are the world’s dominant energy source. Even though these non-renewable resources have a variety of applications like fuel for transportation, electricity, plastic, medicine, and chemicals, they are also the largest emitters of carbon dioxide which causes human health and environmental issues. Every economic aspect the United States depends completely on these fossil fuels. An effective way to address the United States’ fossil fuel dependency is by relying on renewable sources of energy, learning how to conserve energy, recycling and reusing products…

Unlike fossil fuels, it is renewable and does not emit carbon dioxide. According to the Solar Energy Industries Association, the United States has an abundant supply of solar energy resources, such as solar pannels, boilers, and furneses. Enough that it can supply the nations energy needs several times over. The solar industry is currently working to scale up the production or solar technology and decrease the manufacturing costs. Because the majority of carbon emission is due to fossil fuels, solar energy has the potential to mitigate the effects of climate change.…
