Compare And Contrast Skyworld And Genesis

I felt it was interesting how the stories had so much in common, but, so much difference. In both stories the similarities were different, but the same in many ways.
In the Iroquois creation story there was a Skyworld which is similar to the Garden of Eden in the Genesis story. In the Skyworld there was a special tree which no one was to touch. In the Garden of Eden there was a tree of knowledge that God told Adam and Eve not to eat of it or they would surely die.
In Skyworld, the pregnant woman told her husband to retrieve a root of the tree to make a drink. The man was reluctant at first but eventually gave in to his wife’s desire. The husband did not return and she was insistent on having the root of the tree. She went to the tree to
