The gift of Magi and the Sesame street video have some intersting similarities and differences for example, both stories show how the two characters are really poor and unhappy because they don't have enough money to buy each other Christmas gifts. However in the Sesame street video is shows how Bernie and Ernie weren't as poor as Della and Jim because they lived in a better home than Della and Jim.
