People may not always behave the way we may want them to, but there can be many reasons why they behave the way they do. Just because one behaves in such ways does not mean that the way they behave is wrong. Human personality is what makes a person distinctive, unique and exceptional. Every person has a different personality and some personalities mesh better than others. The characters from “All the Years of Her Life” Sam Carr and Mrs. Higgins both display similar strong personality traits. Sam Carr and Mrs. Higgins have similar traits, despite the fact they are two different people. They seem different in that one character displays a very strong personality trait, but deep down inside they are completely broken having too much pride to display it.
Mr. Carr and Mrs. Higgins share the same trait as being strong minded but also caring. They have an extraordinary amount of patience for Alfred. Neither one feels the need to discipline him in a crucial way. They both handle the situation in a respected manner, showing their integrity and humanity.
