To be completely honest, this was not my first topic I was going to write about. When I first looked through the list, I chose to compare being rich to being famous. But after consideration, I wanted to do something I could really talk about and that I’ve felt before. I am not rich, nor have I been famous. Not in the sense I was going to speak about. But I have ridden a roller coaster, and I know what loving someone feels like. Just recently, since this summer, I have learned what it feels like to love somebody other than a close friend, or a family member. Yes, obviously there is the old cliché that the two are similar in the way that they both have their ups and downs, but in the way I am experiencing this unexplainable love, there are …show more content…

I never thought in my life that I would be in my first relationship my senior year. I wouldn’t say I was scared of being in a relationship, but I was scared to go on a roller coaster for the first time. I didn’t think I would enjoy it so much and how satisfying it would be. Well same goes for the love I have for this girl, I was always the single friend, who would always have to listen to one of the guys say they cannot hang out due to plans with their girlfriend. Officially, starting from that day, my life was filled with elation and happiness. I never want to forget the time I started reading Maximum Ride. Starting off my day, I woke up from bed, gulped down some chow, and went back to sitting on my more than comfortable bed, reading the book of my future dreams: “Maximum Ride.” It was necessary to read this book, for a competition, called, Battle of the Books. Continuing on, the deeper I read into the book, the more hooked into the book I was.…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

My Ride-A-long was on Tuesday, November 28th from 7:00 am to 14:00 pm with the Police Officer Morton Campbell. When I got to the police department I had to wait for Officer Campbell for an hour. I took advantage of the moment and the Officer Jose Garcia took me to a mini tour of the area. During the wait a citizen came to make a report, Officer Garcia did not use codes but asked her some questions and said it was a lost property report. She went to report that she had lost her wallet, she had forgotten it on the bus, she realized that she had lost it a day later and she waited a week to report it.…
