Rogue waves and tsunamis both form in the ocean but form in different ways. Tsunamis can form in multiple ways. In source 2 it says, Tsunamis can form from earthquakes, volcanoes, and landslides on the ocean floor. Large meteorites can cause tsunamis when they hit the water. Shoaling occurs as the tsunami hits shallow coastal waters, and the trough of the wave slows dramatically due to the contact with the ocean floor, but the trailing part of the wave is still moving rapidly in the deeper water; this causes an increase in wave height that can be detrimental to civilizations. For example, the deadliest tsunami occured when a piece of the Indian Tectonic Plate slid under the Burma Plate off the coast of Sumatra and generated an earthquake. Called the Sumatra tsunami, it hit coastal areas around the Indian Ocean and killed about 300,000 people in 12 countries.…

Although, the power of wisdom does not just happen after finishing a textbook; rather, it is built up over time from lessons and morals that are learned from an adventure. In Homer’s epic poem, The Odyssey (translation by Robert Fagles), many characters, including Odysseus, enmark on their own journeys to discover themselves. However, power corrupts the land of mortals and gods, as each man and women exploit their own powers in the world. One of the many mysteries surrounding the Bermuda triangle is the several missing airplanes and ships, such as Flight 19 and the USS Cyclops, but most of these disappearances can be explained by natural occurrences. The Bermuda Triangle is a geographic area of the North Atlantic Ocean located off the southeast coast of the United States. The enigma of the area is its great controversy. “The enigma is that more ships and planes disappear in this area, in fair weather, more than in any other place in the world, for no readily explainable reason” (Bermuda Triangle: Introduction).…
