Killer H2O attacks Rogue waves and Tsunamis are almost similar but they have different causes and locations. Rogue waves and tsunamis can be very dangerous. You will learn about the causes, where they form, and how much damage is caused. Cause Scientists don’t know for sure how rogue waves form, but they have some theories. Tsunamis on the other hand, are caused by earthquakes, landslides, and volcanoes. Tsunamis mostly occur in the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire is in the Pacific ocean. Some factors that could help make a rogue wave is wind strength, ocean depth, ocean currents, and presence of an island. Location Rogue waves don’t happen in human parts of the ocean.
