Compare And Contrast Republicans And Democrats

Republicans and democrats are very different political parties. That’s a given, but they are complete opposites in most if not all aspects. Republicans believe that each person is responsible for him or herself and should not rely on the government. Republicans believe that the government should only control what the people cannot. This idea is called limited intervention. Democrats believe that they should lean on the government completely. They want the government to control everything so that they, democrats, don’t have to do anything. They believe that it is the governments job to care for the people even if it means giving up an individuals rights. Im supposed to say that there is no right or wrong. However really and truly, democrats are the reason that our country is 17 trillion dollars in debt and counting. They are lazy, irresponsible, and it is killing our country from the inside out. National defense is a huge issue in our country. Republicans and democrats differ greatly in this aspect. Republicans believe in a strong national military with the best training, best equipment, and the most firepower of any other military to stay ahead of our enemies.
