In this essay I will be comparing and contrasting the two movies The Patriot and Revolution. These Films are very similar and different with both of them focusing around war and battle. The Patriot is very inaccurate but the Revolution is a lot more accurate and shows what happened. Both of these movies take place in different locations, the Patriot is in South and North Carolina and Revolution is in New York. The plot and story in the Patriot is amazing, but the Revolutions story is horrendous and the movie had to be redone. Both of these movies The Patriot and Revolution have similarities and differences that show the true story of the Revolutionary war.

The Patriot was very inaccurate, but Revolution was a lot more accurate and showed a lot more real facts about the Revolutionary war. For example in The Patriot there were bullets shooting heads flying off and unrealistic sword fighting, they also used a 5 dollar bill with Abraham Lincoln on the front. This movie took place way before Lincoln was president. There were none of these inaccuracies in the Revolution. Moving on to the next difference is in the Patriot, Mel Gibson is a settled person in Carolina and has a big family, but in the Revolution Tom Dobb is moving into New York on a boat with his son.
Omit both the movies The Patriot and Revolution are ok movies with a ok plot, both movies have many similarities and differences.
