OS X El Captain vs Windows 10, who’s the better Operating System? As of today’s generation, the 2 most popular OS’s (Operating Systems) are Windows based operating systems and OS X (Apple) based operating systems, and it will most likely stay that way for the coming years or even decades. Your future operating system will depend on your knowledge of computers and preference of accessibility, such as your knowledge of removing viruses, how user friendly you want your OS to be once bought or installed, your overall knowledge of an OS itself, and how you plan use your computer, since your future operating system is pretty much your entire computer. Almost anything is allowed to be downloaded from the internet with Windows 10, which leads to plenty of viruses that could harm your computer for no reason. Windows 10 computers also have less protection overall, as the antivirus that the computer comes with is very weak and doesn’t do much unless you pay for an antivirus online, which may not even defend your computer that well, as it could be a scam or just a weak antivirus that you always have to buy annually in order to “keep your computer protected.” Another flaw in Windows 10 security is that although you can check for updates at all times, the only way to initiate them is if you manually do it, unlike OS X El Captain, where updates are found and put into effect automatically. In regards to the aspect of editing for Windows 10, the only program that comes with Windows 10 relating to editing is Windows Movie Maker, which is a very weak program and isn’t used by anyone unless that certain person is trying to grasp onto the basic of editing, when you can do the exact same thing on OS X El Captain and more. Windows 10 computers are also not as compatible with editing programs like how OS X is, because of the fact that the professional editing programs (Adobe) were first created for OS X specifically and then adapted to Windows OS type of coding. For business related, although most IT work is used on Windows computers, OS X is still used more often at a workplace then Windows 10. Most jobs do this because of how easy the user interface is and how much accessibility there is to an OS X El Captain computer.
