Moses saved the people of Egypt without violence while warning the Pharo of Gods wrath if the Pharo continued the path of his hardened heart. Odysseus fought in the Trojan war that claimed a number of lives over a women named Helen. Regardless of the path they took, it does not discount the characteristic traits that both hero’s shared. The similar characteristics that aided in their adventures. While they may have used these traits in different ways, they still possessed them and used them to help those around them. Moses was a man who 's courage lead him and the jewish slaves of Egypt into the promise land. Odysseus displayed courage throughout his entire life. He was a leader during the Trojan war which lasted ten years. He also was tasked with the trip home which lasted another ten years due to the Gods anger towards him. His courage against all odds allowed him to be considered a hero and a greek legend. They both displayed patience in ways most would consider unfathomable. Odysseus departure from home lasted twenty years. Most mortals would have given up the idea of ever returning home, but not Odysseus. His love for his wife enabled him to have the courage to not only fight in the trojan war but to also embark on a deadly return home that lasted another ten years. Moses also resembled a level of patients that most would consider remarkable if not astonishing. He traveled the Wilderness of Sinai for forty years until he passed away. His patients and leadership during this time was remarkable. The leadership both poses goes without saying. Both Moses and odysseus were forced to lead people into the
