Compare/Contrast Essay I will be talking about the two main characters in the two stories I read. The characters names are Mrs.Breckenridge and Laurie. Mrs.Breckenridge is in The 3 century woman by the author Richard Peak. Laurie is in Charles by the author Shirley Jackson. Now I will talk about their similarities. They both tell lies to either get their way or too stay out of trouble. They misbehave most of the time but sometimes they are good. Most of the time they get in trouble because they want attention. They’re different because the have an age difference. Mrs.Breckenridge lies to reporters.Laurie on the other hand lies to his parents. They lie for different reasons.
