Racial segregation has been one of the issues that have been fighting for so many decades, and that has never come to an end. The wave of discrimination between blacks and whites has become acuter after WWII that led to two people full of standing up for a fight for justice are Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Even though they had the same goal that fighting for the freedom of African-American people, each of them has different view and strategies, and that has caused fierce debate among the two groups. When Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. choose the way to fight nonviolence, while Malcolm X is the opposite. The leader with that peaceful childhood was Martin Luther King Jr., he was born in a family with one brother and one sister with the love of parents and close relatives with his sibling. He was well-educated and in good schools, he also went to college when he was nineteen. When he talked about his childhood, he admitted that his childhood had never undergone a “crisis movement” (p.36). However, there was one thing that he regarded himself as the first shock of was that going to the back a bus, sitting in the segregation section of a train or sitting behind the curtain. Although it was a racial segregation that King has spread, but for him, the reclaim of equality does not need to resort to violence. The cause of that is because his childhood was very peaceful with every Sunday coming to church. From there, he has a strong belief in God. Almost all of his later speeches had always talked about his trust in God and he believed that our tragedy is the result of sin “the more I observed the tragedies of history and man’s shameful inclination to choose the low road, the more I came to see the depths and strength of sin” (p.41). In addition, the discriminations that he experienced were just unfair social attitudes in society, so he chose to fight
