This was not the case. Lady Macbeth appeared again after her sleepwalking incident and there was about 6-7 witches at one time on stage interacting with Macbeth. Reading the play, you would know that Lady Macbeth is not brought up until the mention of her death or seen after Act 5, Scene I. You would also know that there are only 3 witches and they most certainly don’t react with Macbeth in front of Macduff. Since everything was on one stage and the backdrop was the same, we didn’t get to see Malcolm’s army “moving the forest.” Macbeth walked around with a limp and that was never mentioned in the actual play.
