Most hear the name Lincoln and think Abraham Lincoln,16th president of the United States. You hear Harriet Tubman and you think freeing slaves on the underground railroad. Most people connect these people with the slavery. These people from all different backgrounds came together to help stop slavery.
Lincoln and Tubman fought for the same thing. They both fought in the Civil War, which in the end freed the slaves. Tubman and Lincoln both fought for equality in the states. Tubman and Lincoln were close friends with Frederick Douglass. Frederick Douglass was a slave as a young boy who was later freed and became a writer.
Harriet Tubman and Abraham Lincoln did not have much in common. One major thing is that Tubman was raised a slave and Lincoln
