Judaism vs Buddhism
Judaism and Buddhism are both one of the very first religions ever started. The difference was that Judaism was founded about 4,00 years ago and Buddhism was founded 2,500. Buddhism revolves around karma and dharma and Judaism revolves around following the torah and the 10 commandments. Buddhist follow more of a rule structure but Jews follow the word of God and want to make sure they please him. Another way Jews please god is by following the rules set by god.Judaism and Buddhism are different and similar based on their origins, belief system, and monothetic and polythetic form .

Followers of Judaism believe in Adoni or Yahweh which is their God. They believe God created the heavens and the universe, he is spiritual and not physical. Followers of Judaism also believe that God is the universe but the universe is not God. Adding on they also truly believe in their sacred text the Torah , the 10 Commandments ,they are Kosher their beliefs on Main festivals are Hanukkah and Passover. As for Buddhism they are neither monotheistic or polytheistic but they believe in karma, Dharma and the reincarnation. Karma is the belief of what goes around comes around as for Dharma is is to follow the practice and to fulfill your duties. Buddhist also believe in the Four Noble Truth which is life is full of suffering,suffering is caused by desire,and eliminate suffering by eliminating desire. Buddhist also believe in the Eightfold Path the middle way. Judaism and Buddhism both have a rule that you should give money to the poor. Buddhism, Judaism, and all other major religions have come across a realization that there are a set of fundamentally unhealthy activities that it is best not to do. What makes Buddhism similar is that Siddhartha gautama is he is both worshiped alongside with how Jews seek to please him . In Buddhism Siddhartha is viewed as more than just Prince both religions have very important role models they look up to. Although they are both very different types of religions. Buddhist believe in no gods but just rules and pathways set by Siddhartha Gautama . Judaism only believe in one God and he is there only creator.
Therefore Judaism and Buddhism have more differences than similarities. For example Judaism was founded in Jerusalem and Israel and Buddhism was founded in India.They both have different religions structures different cultures and they follow different rules. Also Judaism compared to Buddhism has a sacred text which is a Torah and the Ten Commandments as for Buddhism just follows rules. Finally Judaism and Buddhism are similar and different according to their Origins system of Belize and their form of being monotheistic or
