Compare And Contrast Jade And Anthony

In the story with Jade and Anthony, they have taken their son Michael to both a family day care and a center day care because Jade is in the Army and had to go to Germany. Before she left, she put her son in a family day care, but then Anthony enrolled him in a center day care and after a period of time his son started talking more, became more social, and was much more attentive. In both a family day care and center day care there is obviously many contrasts between the two and in any situation there are many major differences and effects to the children. Both of these day cares are fairly acceptable, but depending on the parents' needs and which way they want to manage their children in, than one would be better to enroll their children into. However, we do know that both of these day care centers have some notable differences, and we already know that one of those differences is that Michael's vocabulary became more advanced after he was enrolled into the center day care, but there are still more differences between both the center day care and the family day care. …show more content…
In the center care, the staff that work there are all people who are trained and certified to work with infants and toddlers and are professionals what they do and have had many years of experience and know how to develop the children's skills. On the other hand, in family day care centers the person who runs the place is usually inexperienced with taking care of children. Also, in center daycares they have special programs with infants and toddlers where they are kept separately and are able to develop schemas and language development for the infants and for the toddlers, they can be able to socialize with their peers while family day cares don’t have these
