Compare And Contrast Invasion From Mars

The 1938 radio play ‘Invasion from Mars’ had people leaving their homes and fleeing the town because they thought it was a true story, the radio play was based of the book ‘War of the World’s’ and so was the movie. ‘Invasion from Mars’ and the 1953 movie ‘War of the World's’, are the same stories with many differences.

In both the movie and radio play they had an invasion from Mars. The creatures in both stories had snake like tentacles, and red lasers that shot out to kill people. The creatures came out of shafts and had people leaving their homes trying to get somewhere safe. In both stories the creatures are radioactive and cause the clocks to stop working and crashing the phone lines so no one could call for help.
