In order to hunt on public land or any land honestly you should get your hunters safety permit which allows you to hunt on public land and lets you purchase deer tags or any game tags at all (Robyn). In order to hunt at all in the state of Missouri there is a hunters safety course every hunter has to take and what that allows a hunter to do is to be able to buy tags to actually go hunting and it also allows hunters to hunt on a state owned public land. That is mostly all the certification a hunter has to go through to be able to hunt besides doing paper work for a firearm which can be a long process whereas a bow anyone can buy one a bow upfront without doing any paperwork. “For a good beginner setup, $500-600 is probably a reasonable estimate for both compound bows and rifles” (Robyn). Rifles and shotguns can be quite expensive and bows can be too such as higher end brands of rifles and shotguns even bows can cost up to eight hundred to about twelve hundred dollars. On top of buying firearms most people have to go through a background check along with a couple pages of paperwork. In order …show more content…
For new people to the world of hunting in terms of budgets guns or bows they can range about the same price although most hunters would eventually say you get what you paid for in budget guns and bows although some most rifles can cost more in the long run with attachments and bows not as much (Robyn). Most hunters always say you can get a cheap gun but you’ll get what the hunter paid for and also like the author said after it is all said and done you'll probably have spent way over the budget for a rifle after all the attachments are added. “Compared to bows, guns have more recurring costs: bullets and shot. Shooting practice can get expensive if you want to visit the range frequently. By contrast, arrows can be used many, many times”(Robyn). This can be important to start out with bows if someone is just starting out hunting and does not have a lot of money it is probably easier to use a bow along with it not costing money every time there is shot at wild game which after a while or a couple years can rack up money extremely fast, but with bows they can last for years and

Hunting has been around since the dawn of time. Having transformed from a vital means of survival to a sporting activity, people have long debated both sides of the issue. While some view hunting as a righteous action, others despise the deed. The argument for hunting as an admirable or distasteful act is still relevant to present society. As seen in the writings of Rick Bass and Robert G. Schreiner through many comparisons and differences, imagery, deeper meanings, stances, and views, the debate of hunting is a controversial matter.…

But when you are walking in the woods you want to try and act like a deer by how they walk also hunters can do this by walking in a erratic stop and go pattern, but simply most easiest way is to just go with the flow because you will never have the same hunt. Deer are mostly accustomed to hearing squirrels running through the leaves and limbs falling from trees, but if a hunter goes out and doesn’t spray any scent on him to cover him up a deer will smell you from miles away and won’t come to your stand. Deer live in the wood twenty four hours, seven days a week they know what sounds are normal to them and what sounds are not if a hunter makes just the slightest noise of something slamming against metal when you are climbing up a stand the deer will get curious around their territory. Another thing that all hunters should do is not let your guard down because the minute that you do the biggest buck of your life could walk right past you and you didn’t get the shot off, but if you don’t let your guard down you have to be calm and quiet because when you see the big buck your adrenaline will kick in and your heart will be racing so much but everything can happen so fast in a blink of an…

Hunters hunt to try to get food for their family so tainting the meat would ruin that purpose. When uneducated opponents think of semi-automatics, it is wrongly assumed hunters would be allowed to go into the woods with a thirty-round capacity magazine and rain hell on a deer, this is not true. Most states when hunting game animals only allow the hunter to only have three to five rounds in the magazine of any firearm. Also hunters in most states have to take a hunting safety…
