The comparison between Saudi Healthcare System and American Healthcare System reveal the huge differences between two systems in terms of structure, financing coverage, delivery healthcare, and access to services. The major difference is the funding, which in KSA healthcare system is funded by government “public sector” from oil revenues, while in the USA healthcare system is funded by variety ways “private insurance” mainly from taxes and payroll taxes.
In KSA, every citizen has a right of free healthcare regardless of his/her income, race, gender and etc., while in the USA healthcare is available for only insured people whether they have Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. In KSA, Ministry of Health is in charge of supervision
