Constructed Response Hatchet does a better of telling the story. It gives more details,and I can understand what was happening throughout the book. In the film, it was going from one thing to another. I didn’t understand what was going on throughout the movie, A Cry in the Wild. The book does a better job of telling the story because it uses multiple amounts of foreshadowing and imagery. One point in the book, he described how the raspberries were sweet and a little sour. He was telling us that the berries were filled with juice and taste. That would be imagery. In the movie, he didn’t tell us that the berries were good and filled with juice, all he had done was make a face. That doesn’t really tell us anything about how they taste. One
