An example of grit, would be Preston Kao, who is 9 year old boy and he is one of the captains on the 06 blue strikers. He is the youngest player by a whole year. Statistically because of his age and size, he should be easy to beat. During season 1, he struggled tremendously struggled . During season 1, he had no first touch and he could not hold his position. But because of his grit to become better, after a whole season of training with the soccer ball, he became one of the best 06 players in league. He became so strong, he was offered to guest play on a top club soccer team for a tournament. His grit made him become a the center-mid. That position is one of the most important places to be and because of his grit he became not only a starter, but one of the most trusted player’s. Gabe Farmer, is by far the most agile player in the whole program. He was born a natural born athlete. He is on the 06 blue team and he’s not even the most skilled player. He’s one of the strongest players, but when it comes to skill he’s not even in the top 5. He is pure talent however, he does not have enough grit to make himself more. He has so much potential to be something if only he would put in the work. To this day he relies on his talent instead of putting in effort.
