Have you ever imagined choosing between life or Death? Have you ever imagined what kind of thoughts swirled in the minds of the victims of 9/11? These victims were ordinary people, waking up to an ordinary day, getting ready for their ordinary work. They embraced their children in the morning, kissed their wives, and said Good bye. Little did they know that would be the last time they did anything of the sort. September 11th was a day that the people of America will never forget, all the people around the country watching from their homes, watching as the twins towers and the pentagon burned, and collapsed like a house of cards. America was affected greatly by the events of 9/11. Al Qaeda had struck a weak stop in our country, and till this day many people still mourn over the loss of the ones they loved.

My dad heard about 9/11 that morning while at work at Carlile tire and wheel. He worked as a supervisor and was getting ready to go to the morning staff meeting. Word had come in the something really bad had happened. So one of my Dad’s co workers turned on the T.V, and all of them watched as the second plane hit the second tower. My dad said he was shocked, and definitely thought we would go to war because of this. He was angry at the people who did this, and was traumatized by watching the people leap off the building to their death. He said that some of the people around him were crying, others were yelling at the T.V, and some simply went back to work. My Dad said the thing that he remembers the most is the feeling he felt when he saw people had to choose between burning to death, or jumping to death off the building. After watching T.V for about another hour he was instructed to get back to work. And when he got home he hugged my mom and thought about how thankful he was to live the life he had, and he prayed for the families of the victims of
