For example in Eleven the teacher didn't apologize for wrongly forcing rachel to wear a sweater that didn't belong to her, “I take it off right away and give it to her, only Mrs. Price pretends like everything's okay”(Cisneros,pg.4). this showed that the teacher believed that she didn’t need to apologize to rachel because rachel is younger and since she is older she is right but when she realized she was wrong she didn't admit it. Another example of this is in Brownies Rachel was being treated unfairly by her classmates. They called her by a nickname of something embarrassing that happened to her and never let her talk they drove her so angry that she was just done with it ,and didn't even want to be around any of her classmates anymore until Daphne decided to ask about what laurel was talking about and actually listen. "As I watched the trees blur, I wanted nothing more than to be through with it all :the bus ride, the troop, school—all of it."(Packer,pg27) this quote shows how she has been pushed so far that she decided to give up on school her friends and Troop
