Politics have been around for a long time and almost every time it involves some kind of authority to be put in place to rule or govern. The upcoming election is considered to be one of the most significant presidential elections in a very long time. The election will decide which party controls the presidential seat in the executive branch. It also shows what policies and other laws that will be pasted in the near future. The president also will have a chance to appoint a new Supreme Court Justice. Donald Trump and Marco Rubio are two of the candidates in this year’s Republican primary that share similar and different views on issues such as abortion, immigration, and welfare. Donald Trump has a very interesting view on the idea of abortion. …show more content…
He has no problem banning Muslims from entering America, and he wants to keep a database of Muslim refugees. The illegal immigration hurts the economy, and he doesn’t care how many come in as long as it is legally. He believes the Syrian refugees are a Trojan Horse for terrorist, and Donald Trump is against birth citizenship. He wants to ship millions of illegal immigrants back to Mexico and put up walls on the borders. Trump states that he can get Mexico to pay for the wall, but politicians cannot. He also calling for triple fencing and heavy military protection with Predator drones, and he wants a door in this wall to allow immigrants to come in …show more content…
These two candidates both have their strengths and weaknesses that can set them apart from one another. Trump is more of a business man, and Rubio is more of a younger politician. Both share some similar views on the issues that were discussed above, but each has different ways of solving the problem. In my opinion, we have had election after election of politicians and military type presidents with each slowly driving up our national debt up since the 1970s. I say it’s time to get a business minded person into office. The national debt will reach twenty trillion dollars by the end of this year, and the debt is defacing the value of the American dollar because we do not even have enough gold to back the money that we are printing. Trump has led and owned several successful companies, and he is also a multi-billionaire. Trump can put America back on the right track by lowering the national debt or at least slow it down. I don’t think he will be a bad president as long as he gets a good foreign affairs staff together to help

The key candidates of the 2-16 presidential election are Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz. Hillary Clinton was First Lady to her husband, Bill Clinton, for 8 years, a Senator for 8 years, and the US state secretary for 4 years. Bernie Sanders was Mayor of Burlington for 8 years, a representative in the US House of Representatives for 16 years, and a US Senator for 10 years. Donald Trump has no background in politics, but his success in business gives him a unique perspective on the economic, if not the political, aspects of the Presidency. Marco Rubio was Commissioner of Miami for 12 years, Majority leader in the Florida House of Representatives for 2 years, Speaker in the same House for 2 years, Representative…

Elections have been a part of deciding the President in the United States since John Adams was elected President in 1796. Elections have become a routine process repeated every four years; where politicians debate their way into becoming are next President. But if you take a look at the current election cycle you would be a little confused. In the 2016 Presidential race there are three candidates that are not even politicians in the campaign. And on top of them being in the race they are all doing exceptional well, collectively having most of the people’s top vote.…

He has claimed that Hispanics are rapists, Muslims being terrorist, and women being pigs. The hatred and disrespectful attitude that Trump has isn’t fit for president. Recently at one of his rallies, he bashed at one of his own supporters simply because her baby began to cry. This shows that if Donald Trump was agitated at a simple, innocent thing, one can imagine the trouble, he would cause to America if a conflict…

In an interview, Donald John Trump, an American businessperson and a Republican candidate running for president, specified: “ The immigrants are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists. It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America.…

But one may ask “How do you expect to get every single illegal to go back to their home country?” His only response to this could be is to build the 10-foot wall. Johnson said “A 10-foot wall just requires an 11-foot ladder.” this does say a lot because people will do anything to be in the United States. Trump wants people to come into our country, he wants to bring people in but all he wants is to be able to do it legally.…

Donald Trump should not be president for the year 2016. First of all, what amazingly beneficial things will he do for America? He is a republican; he cares not for America and all of her citizens but for money and if he becomes president America will be ruined. Trump is not a man with the experience of war, or being in charge of a whole country and all the people in it, but a man of business and economy. Also if he is elected for the leader of our country, and if he has the generosity, he could get all of the citizens of America out of debt.…

This shows the purpose of Trump’s side of the argument, which is that he wants to improve America by reducing illegal immigration rates by having a permanent border wall and increase fees on all border crossings. Following up on his belief, Trump wants to construct the new immigration policy that will, in his opinion, return the safety of laws for the American people. The immigration policy also proposes the mandatory return of all criminal aliens currently subsiding in the United States. Trump recognized the Obama Administration for releasing 76,000 aliens from custody of committing criminal convictions since 2013, but still wants to continue on that action by having all criminal aliens to be deported to their home countries by cancelling visas and adding an additional committed crime to being in a country illegally (Trump 3). This further contributes to Trump’s purpose to reduce illegal immigration in the United States and putting all American citizens as a priority in this country.…

The battle between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump has been heating up since the start. In other words, it's been leading to complications within the society of the American people. Bernie Sanders would be a better candidate because we would benefit more from him than from Trump since his proposals seem worthy enough to support the United States especially with the immigration problem. In addition, that with Sanders leading he would help out the US with it’s problems such as, immigration, foreign policy, and gun control rather than add more chaos as in Trump’s proposal. Also with his foreign policy change we could stop any other terrorist attacks rather than be feared and powerful which could lead to more terrorist assaults.…

Hillary Clinton is a career politician and Donald Trump is very successful business leader. Each one brings into the political arena an agenda for people to consider. While they both claim to have the same concerns for our country, their views on solving these problems are drastically different.
