Republicans are more conservative and have more Christian based beliefs. Democrats are more liberal and have the opposite beliefs as republicans. In fact, the US has a democracy type of government. More republicans live down in the South because there are more churches and religion is more in action. Most democrats live in the North. Both Democrats and Republicans ignore some of our most basic rights. One way we ignored our rights is our government killing our very own people. Republicans believe taxes should not be increased for anyone and that wages should be set by the free market. Democrats, however, believe in minimum wages and progressive taxation. Regarding National Defense Democrats want to conserve their money towards military costs. Republicans are for a strong military and believe in making sure our country does not look weak. The Republican Party’s stance on Healthcare includes finding your own personal health insurance and being able to choose which company you want to use. In difference, the Democrats support Obama Care and think that all people should be forced to have this health insurance instead of it being a choice. As far as Energy goes Republicans are in favor of letting companies enlarge oil drilling when Democrats are in fact against oil drilling because of the environment. Education is also an issue facing us today. Democrats believe in progressive education while the Republicans believe in a more traditional and conservative school environment. Lastly, the economy is a huge issue facing our nation every day. Republicans as I said earlier believe in wages set by free markets and do not want tax rates increasing. Democrats on the other hang want higher tax rates and minimum wages as well as more government
