Coffee vs Tea Coffee and tea are two of the most common and popular beverages in the world. They are also the two most consumed drinks worldwide. Coffee and tea are consumed in the morning, the afternoon, and even at night. These drinks have the added benefit of caffeine. These two uniquely healthy pick-me-ups have many similarities and differences. How they are prepared, how healthy they are for you, and the reasons why people chose them are very different. Preparing a cup of coffee has gotten easier as time has progressed. As our culture becomes more demanding for speedy processes. Coffee then, has its way of saving lives. The healthier you are the better you feel, so coffee can also put you in a good mood. For those that want to stay thin and lose weight, coffee contains six to seven calories a cup. This is such a small amount but it also increases energy, fills your stomach, and keeps your brain engaged. Coffee is also a diuretic which helps one defecate and urinate. It also provides your body with clean healthy nutrients that makes your liver happy and healthy. Tea is a great choice for health related problems as well. It has many healing properties due to its many variations and combinations of herbs found in each and every cup. The tea leaves themselves contain many antioxidants that help keep one young and prevent damage to cells. Tea having less caffeine than coffee makes it a good choice for a more relaxed fill. Many herbal blends having no caffeine. One common herbal blend is ‘Throat Coat’ which helps to heal and smoothen someone's throat. If a singer needs to prepare for a performance, they drink the tea to improve their vocal quality. Tea reduces risks of stroke and heart attack; it also improves the metabolic system and helps people with Parkinson’s disease have fewer symptoms. Higher amounts of tea has shown to help people lose weight. While tea in general can help in these areas, green tea has many more benefits on its own.
