Compare And Contrast Coachella And The Hangout

Coachella and The Hangout festival are two of the most popular music festivals in the United States. The two festivals happen annually in the spring and the immense crowds they draw out are from all over the world. The two festivals have their variances, but overall, they are more similar than one may realize. Despite the two festivals being held in different months and several states apart they remain alike in quite a few ways. Coachella and The Hangout do have some minor variations and this helps keep them unique. Although Coachella and The Hangout have their differences, they are similar in the types of artists performing, the location, and their duration. First starters Coachella and The Hangout both have a vast number of artists performing each year; from the most popular and well-known artists and bands to the ones with few fans that may just be getting their start. Coachella’s line up usually consists of approximately one to two hundred different artists and groups each year. The artists performing at Coachella vary in genres of music ranging from rap to trap, electric to indie, and that is just to list a few. The Hangout line up comprises one hundred or more performers yet many of the artists take the stage at both festivals annually, especially the headliners. Coachella runs its course over a period of three weekends. Friday through Sunday for three consecutive weekends the festival comes to life. Every April the festival fills the usually secluded desert valley with the roaring screams of fans and wild sound waves. The Hangout follows a similar path by taking place over multiple weekends however this festival is held a little later on in the month of May. The festivals rave from dusk till dawn every day leaving little time for anything other than migrating from stage to stage just to absorb every ounce of the
