Generally, left lip is less severe than cleft lip and palate, and it can occur as complete cleft lip, which involves the entire vertical height of the lip and often associated with alveolar cleft, or it could be incomplete (Simonart’s band) consisting of skin and some orbicularis muscle fibers. (4)
