Cinderella
As children and young adults, we read stories that fascinated us for the pleasure of entertainment. Many of these stories or short tales have been converted into different versions throughout the world to accommodate a variety of cultures. Cinderella is an example of a story that has been altered into different versions yet consists of similar plots. In the different versions of Cinderella, the characters stay with the same personalities and the same concept of trying a slipper on to marry the prince at the end. In two versions of Cinderella by the Grimm Brothers and by Charles Perrault, there are many resemblances in the situations occurring; however, there are quite a few differences in both stories.
