During the 15th century, the world experienced what would later on be two of the most renowned explorers to this day. These two explorers were Christopher Columbus and Zheng He. Christopher Columbus was originally from Genoa, Italy but performed voyages for Spain after being denied by Portugal, Venice, and Genoa. On the other hand, Zheng He was born in Kunyang, China and was put in charge of a series of expeditions throughout the Pacific Ocean. Although, both of these explorers have different backgrounds and upbringings both explorers were able to discover an abundance amount of land that became very valuable to their representing
