Columbus treated the native very poorly, by murdering them and putting them as the slave trader. Columbus was considered as an enforcer of slaves. Tink and Mark (2008) speculates Columbus initiated his first American commercial slave trade, kidnapping 500 people for eventual auction in Seville. Columbus was impressed with the hard work of the natives, that he immediately took their land for Spain and force the natives to work in his poorly gold mines. He would sell and trade the coal for money or other things that he wants. Over a million of Native American were killed in the major act of genocide. Tink et al. (2008) condemn Columbus engaged in the reckless murder of aboriginal inhabitants of the land he invaded and then continued to create the mechanism, of punishment and enslavement that can be classified as murder.Columbus also tortures them if the natives tried to escape from him, he would burn them alive and sent his dogs to attack them.
