I would have to disagree, as I do not find Liszt to be "underrated". Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony may be the one everyone seems to prefer more often than usual, but that does not mean it is far more engaging than Liszt’s transcription. Each one has its strengths and faults. Beethoven manages to express the heroic proportions to it; while Liszt, compared to the full orchestral version, manages to work very well in adding a greater lyrical quality to the work on the piano.…
Two musicians at the time were Beethoven and Chopin. Their pieces expressed emotion and many of them connected to nature. Beethoven’s “Symphony No.6” was inspired by a hike; in it, his music portrays different parts of nature such as thunderstorms and flowing rivers. Chopin’s “Prelude in Db Major,” symbolizes nature by portraying raindrops. In addition to musicians, the painters of the Romantic era were also very expressive.…
Robert Schumann composed orchestral music, including four symphonies and one piano concerto. He also composed chamber music, including three string quartets, one piano quintet, one piano quartet, piano trios, and sonatas. In the emotional abandonment of his music, Schumann is the true Romantic. His piano pieces are filled with impassioned melody, unique changes of harmony, and driving rhythms.…
In the 19th century, women did not have the option to pick what they needed to be or do in life; it was decided for them. In a marital relationship, the view of a woman’s place in a society is a ‘glorified servant’ to her husband. In many of ways this can affect a woman and the sense of who she is. The three stories by Kate Chopin “The Story of an Hour”, “The Storm”, and “Desirees Baby” demonstrates how easily women can become brainwashed and forced to conform to social norms and values. However, it also demonstrates how women at times, rebelled against these beliefs.…
Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film Romeo + Juliet is an effective interpretation of William Shakespeare's original drama. The film is an effective interpretation because the film was entertaining, viewers would be able to believe it was a real film from now about Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, and the film was moving. The film was entertaining because the film had parts that were humorous, intriguing, and sorrowful. One of the humorous parts of the film was when Mercutio was at the Capulet’s party and started dancing in the dress he had on.…

reason why I made a comparison between Drake and Haydn because they both are good at what they do. Also, they both are experienced and well-respected for what they do. Franz Joseph Haydn was the most famous composer of his time, Haydn was not the first one who invented the symphony, but help…
Both Ludwig Van Beethoven and Amadeus Mozart are regarded as the head honchos of the classical music era. Mozart was one of the composers that ushered in the classical era, whereas Beethoven studied classicism, refining and expanding on it in order to help usher in the Romantic era.
