So as Americans, we are “forced” to learn all about the US government, also referred to as Checks and Balances. In theory, Checks and Balances make sure that all branches of government have the same amount of power. However this is not the case. By comparing the powers of the Legislative Branch and the Executive Branch, I will show you that the Executive Branch has more control in the government. The Executive Branch is the branch of government that enforces the law. The Executive Branch, however, does not make or interpret laws as those are jobs of other branches of government.
