Cats and dogs are dissimilar and identical in their own ways. Alterations in these two are what makes them unique. Cats and dogs differ in vision, smell, Speed, endurance and intelligence. There difference is what allow them to be helpful in every way even for humans. If , cats and dogs had everything in common they would be boring and un-interested. having certain characteristics that no one has is something that allows them to fit with our needs.
Cats and Dogs are known as predators which means they will rather watch out for movements instead of a watching a specific item 24/7. They cannot read signs and their color vision isn’t like humans, but once something moves there quick to notice that. Vision is very important when it comes to these animals especially for dogs. People tend to use dogs as watch guards or even another set of eyes for the blind. Dogs have a similar eye vision to humans. Humans has red-green color blindness which is somewhat to what a dog has. The difference is that they are less sensitive to gray shades than humans and changes in brightness. They will jump over a fence faster than a dog. While a cat is jumping the fence, the dog can be like a few feet away. An average house cat speed is 29.8 mph max. Cats will run this speed if their chasing after a prey or being chased after. A dog can run an average of 19 miles per hour. A cheetah a type of cat and the greyhound a kind of dog runs way faster than a house dog or cat. The greyhound can run 45 miles per hour while a cheetah runs 68-75 mph.
