The in state total cost for this school is about, $54,023 on campus. Lycoming offers a B.S. degree and a B.A. degree. The biology program at Lycoming College offers four tracks to help students focus on the part of biology most relevant to their career. The four biology tracks are Anatomy and Physiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Comprehensive Biology, and Ecology. Students on the Anatomy and Physiology track at this school get the opportunity to work with cadavers in their anatomy classes. Also because the school is small there is more one- on- one learning with students and professors. Lycoming also gives students the opportunity to meet current medical students. Meeting someone who is on the job is beneficial for an undergraduate student who has questions about the career. Also with this track, students get the opportunity to shadow local physicians and complete internships at the Susquehanna Health System. To graduate, all biology majors are required to demonstrate to the Department their command of biology by meeting three important criteria; practical experience, a research and presentation component, and an assessment. The practical experience would be either an internship, relevant summer experience, independent studies, honors, clinical laboratory science internship, medical technology internship, biology laboratory assistant, or biology-related volunteer work.
