One of the many questions going through the readers’ minds is ‘why had God allow Betsie and Corrie to get arrested.’ Betsie had not cared that God allowed such a thing, but Corrie had constantly prayed and asked God Why He allowed this. As always, God did have a reason. He wanted the two sisters to be witnesses of God’s love and light inside the concentration camps, where they were interned and so that Corrie could be a survivor and tell others about her experience and her faith inside the concentration camps. Although Betsie had died inside one of the camps that they had been in, she never lost her faith in Christ. The purpose He had in store for Betsie and Corrie ten Boom was to share the Word of God inside and out of the concentration camps. Another purpose was to make their faith in Christ stronger and bolder. No matter what God does, whether it is bad or good, He has a reason for doing such things.
