Roberto Clemente was a famous baseball player with great accomplishments and also looked at as a liberal hero. Finally, Malala from Diane Sawyer, was an advocate for women's educational rights. In Diane Sawyer's interview Malala most effectively relates the qualities of a hero because of her leadership, bravery, and her inability to concede and through her diction and way of speaking.

Beowulf, a hero from Burton Raffel's poem is not depicted to actually be a hero because of his clout and cockyness. Although Beowulf is idolized and deemed to be a hero, he presents himself as conceited and does not give thanks to the people who helped him along the battle. He was what I would call “the perfect hero”, because not only did he get the job done, but he did it so with honor and modesty. In some cases it reminded me of the movie Hercules, where Hercules tried to show off as much as possible and show that he was better than everyone else to gain fame.
