Despite the idea of the contrast between Miss Maudie and Aunt Alexandra, they both have compatible features. Miss Maudie is an overall strong and trustworthy character, while Aunt Alexandra is a very opinionated and prejudiced character. Yet both of these distinct characters are alike in the way that they participate, or do not participate, in the same activities. Characters that are very distant from each other can always have some relation towards each other, just like Miss Maudie and Aunt Alexandra in the book “To Kill a Mockingbird”.
