A woman would have different strengths than a man just as a black person would from a white one. In today’s society a man is given more opportunities than a women, they are also paid more than a women. This is where a woman would have a strength that a man doesn’t need. The strength to stand up against the people who don’t think she can succeed and the strength to show them wrong by working hard and achieving her goals. An example of this could be a bodybuilder or a healthy, fit person because both are seen as muscular and strong. These are the kinds of images that most people today aspire to look like because of how it would make other people look at them. They want to be viewed as positively as possible and not as the person that they actually are. It divides people like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Terry Crews who look like bodybuilders from people like Kevin James and Melissa Mccarthy who are viewed as “larger than normal”. Another way to use strength as an adjective is to describe the number of people in a group. An army from America would have more strength than an army from the Arctic or the strength of the protesters was greater than that of the police
