To What extent are Human Sciences similar to and different from Natural Science?
Introduction;
Science is the intellectual and practical activity comprising of the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the Natural and physical world through experimentation and observation. Scientific method consists of Observation, hypothesis, experiment, law and theory. Because of science, man is able to go to the moon, It has also helped us with manufacturing of cars and electronic devices like cars. How ever because of the success science and technology, It has led to people making extravagant claims about the scope of scientific knowledge. Science is the only way one can make sense of truth and discover honesty.Science is categorised in two major branches; that is Natural sciences and Human sciences
Natural Science; This aims at describing, predicting and understanding the natural situation basing on real proof.The history of natural sciences is characterised with astonishing achievements and discoveries by famous scientists for example Isaac Newton, Robert Boyle, Archimedes, Galileo Galilei and many others and because of them, we are able to know the fundamental laws of physics, we are able to know what’s always taking place in my body, we are able to know the 92 elements that make up a periodic …show more content…
Because of that, experiments are done on a large scale and sometimes it can be a simple lab experiment. On the other hand, in Human sciences, it’s all about human behaviour and it’s more theoretical, In this case the answers are sometimes not correct so it’s hard to do experiments however conclusion is usually drawn from making a experiment on many different people and the answer is got from what the majority of the people thin for example sometimes Psychology students carry out experiments on fellow students and what the majority of the students think would be the right
