Agatha Christie's masterpiece And Then There were None, previously called Ten Little Indians sold over one hundred million copies worldwide. It was published in 1939 and since the fans have turned it into many movies and video-games as well as parodies. The book is a murder mystery about ten people who were accused of crime(s) and tricked into coming to an Island; on that island they are killed off one by one. In 1945, the book was made into a movie also called And Then There Were None by director and producer Réne Clare. The two may have the same title, but they widely differ, the book being dark and the movie being lighter. The endings are broadly unalike.
