The United States and the Ancient Greek share many unique qualities but and still different in many ways. There are many things we have learned from them and adapted to our purposes. The America took a lot of ideas from the ancient greek civilization because they were so civilized and well managed. When the United States first started they needed a way to run their country so they looked towards the past for good examples. The two cultures also had many of the same moral views. Many americans encounter things that were that originated from Greece on a daily basis and don't know it. Modern America and its citizens reflect many aspects of ancient greek culture and owe many ways of their lives to them.
