Novels and movies are alike in a lot of ways but but in every case they are different. In the book And Then There Were None and in A Wrinkle in Time are both good examples of this. In both of the novels and the movies, the authors will write something very strict and vivid and the directors or movies will try hard to make the words come to life in a film. Introduction: My favorite quote throughout the entire story was when Johnny told Ponyboy when he was dying to “Stay gold, Ponyboy… Stay gold.” The meaning of the word “stay gold” was to tell you to stay innocent for as long as you could. My opinion of the book was that the book was good, but it would give too much information for parts that were not important. My opinion of the movie was that it did a good job of just getting to the important parts of the story.…

Details like these in the book made the relationship between Meg and Charles more entertaining to read about as well as possibilities for the two of them later. This, of course, is only one of the many reasons why the book of A Wrinkle in Time was better than the movie’s…

Ignoring obvious differences (such as the fact that one is in picture form, and the other is in words), movies and books may not be so different after all.…
